What's New in TESSA 1.1.1 (17/11/2023)

For the previous release log, please visit October 2023 - TESSA 1.1 Launch

Improvements

  • Single block and/or zone can be exported to REVIT - giving greater control to what's exported and helping to reduce the number of credits used when downloading if you are interesting in a particular building/zone and not the whole site
  • When first creating a project, the search bar is automatically shown -  making it faster to find your target site and start creating your zones. Additionally the Design Options table is collapsed until options have been generated, giving more screen space for site/zone creation
  • Other minor usability improvements - such as being able to click anywhere on the table row to show a design option
  • The Unit Mix % column now provides a visual representation of the unit type breakdown for the building - a hover over is also available showing a numeric breakdown

Additions

  • Metrics CSV - the Design, Cost and Sustainability metrics can now be exported from TESSA in .csv format - enabling quick use in analysis
  • Façade options are now visible in the brief - currently these do not drive anything - however, soon, they will drive the cost plan depending on which Façade option is selected

Bug fixes

  • Buildings would sometimes appear as floating/move out of place when adjusting browser zoom levels or moving TESSA between two different screen sizes
  • Buildings on locked zones will no longer disappear if you edit your site after locking the zones

COMING SOON - TESSA 1.2.0

  • Apply Façade options to cost plan and 3D render & set custom services in the brief to adjust technical spaces sizes and applicable cost adjustments
