What's New in TESSA 1.01



Additions

  • Edge Offset: the ability to add padding/offset around your boundary, including:
    • Linking all edges to adjust equally 
    • Unlinked offset to adjust edges independently
    • Either drag or key in a number
    • For more info - see article here
  • Single loaded buildings are now automatically generated where a zone or portion of a zone is too small to accommodate a double loaded building


Improvements

  • The "F" key on your keyboard will now focus and zoom on a zone when selected - simply select your zone > Press F on your keyboard
  • Design Brief is maintained when creating and modifying any zones of your site
  • When creating a new zone, the Design Brief from your last updated zone is applied to your newly created zone
  • Zone "Usage" (Buildable or Exclusion) is no longer overwritten when creating a new zone
  • When cutting a zone, the brief is maintained on both newly created zones
  • New metrics have been introduced to improve the accuracy of our Cost Plan, such as wall area and perimeter, and especially facilitating costs (Site Clearance)
  • The overall aggregation strategy has been improved to maximise Land Coverage and optimise site layout
  • Bugs in Building Presets rendering and zone creation tools have been fixed


Release 1.02 - Bug Fixes (02/08/2023)

  • 2D is now available on all zones at once to visualise a Site Plan
  • Bug in 2D when a zone is empty has been fixed


Release 1.03 - Bug Fixes (07/08/2023)

  • Fix bug freezing the generation of buildings when slicing a zone with uniform offset boundaries across all edges


Limitations

Please note that the web browsers Firefox and Safari are still not supported under this version of TESSA.
